Commercial Co-Founder for Pre-Seed Startup

Beam is a Berlin-based startup company builder with a bias for (intra-)logistics and technical challenges. We are supported by BEUMER Group – a family business and one of the world’s leading intralogistics companies.
European logistics companies turnover more than €1,300B annually, making logistics the fourth largest industry in Europe. Startups are only beginning to scratch the surface of the transformation made possible by applying software to business problems, and Beam is a part of this change.
We are looking for a commercial co-founder to join one of our pre-seed startups working in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) source code editing, documentation, and version control.
PLC Wizz is an innovative software application designed to streamline PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) code editing and documentation tasks. It offers specialized functionality tailored to the needs of PLC programmers and automation engineers, providing a user-friendly interface and advanced features to enhance efficiency and productivity in PLC programming workflows.
YOU'LL BE THE PERFECT MATCH IF
- You have an impressive track record and years of B2B sales experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- You have built your own business in the past, and you have an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent leadership skills.
- You are driven. Nothing slows you down once or discourages you from picking yourself up after facing a challenge.
- You have an extensive logistics or supply chain network.
- You want to be part of building something special - together with us.
- Successful first funding experience required.
- A team player capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
- Engage with your role as co-founder and build the company on its way from zero to one.
- Build and lead Sales and Finance, incl. further fundraising, business model refinement, and pricing strategy design.
- Be part of our success story and support us in implementing structures and processes and hiring an all-star team!
- Take responsibility for business development and sales growth in Europe.

- You will receive a monthly stipend of 2,500 € (gross)--with opportunity to increase based on successful completion of performance metrics--to help you concentrate on your validation fully.
WHY YOU SHOULDN'T CHOOSE BEAM
- Beam won't suit active students, as the time commitment is more than a full-time (intense) job - and needs full attention. We'd love to hear from you once you've finished your studies and have the work experience described above.
- Beam is based in Berlin; we're actively seeking entrepreneurs across the EU and ideally in Germany, so not suitable outside of the region.
