Sales Manager (w/m/d) – Countercheck

Countercheck is a young, fast-growing, and first-in-the-market technology-enabled counterfeit parcel detection solution. We bring advanced machine learning technology into the CEP/Logistics industry to protect the IP of world-leading brands.

We’re seeking a highly motivated, proactive, action-oriented Sales Manager to join our growing team. You will mainly be responsible for prospecting and onboarding new customers and establishing solid, long-term relationships with them. You’ll also be exposed to various stakeholders, allowing Countercheck to fully unleash its potential. You’ll work side by side with decision-makers of world-leading companies, visiting them in person or through online meetings.

Responsibility

We want our Sales Manager to implement our sales processes and grow into a leading role at Countercheck. To make that happen, you will:

  • Convert world-leading brands to customers by going through the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through events, networking, and social media
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs, strategies, and priorities, which will help you build strong and long-term client relationships
  • Develop sales materials (proposals, slides, presentations), manage our CRM, monitor and measure sales activities
  • Implement sales strategies for the future expansion of Countercheck with a complete focus on global brands
  • Contribute to product development in close cooperation with the co-founders
  • The successful candidate will become a core element of the Countercheck structure as we scale globally
  • Needs to be highly target-driven and able to convert pilot partners into paying customers

Requirements

Our small but high-caliber team is best enhanced with a person who:

  • is a fast learner with strong analytical and negotiation skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for sales
  •  wants to go fast!
  •  brings at least 2-3 years of experience in Enterprise sales to the table (B2B software startup experience is a plus)
  •  Brand Protection background is a big plus but not essential
  •  has a good understanding of different sales channels their functions and can execute processes eloquently
  •  experience with Google Workspace (particularly Sheets and Slides or MS Office equivalent) and CRM Software
  •  has business acumen and has demonstrated the ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  •  works well independently as well as in a (small) team and is willing to travel up to 30% of the time
  •  communicates clearly and concisely
  •  has top-notch presentation skills
  •  is interested in the startup and logistics industry
  • speaks fluent English (French, Spanish, Italian, and other languages are a plus!)
